Volunteer Opportunities

At Grace Hospital we have many different volunteer opportunities; we have split them into the categories below:

Patient Care Areas

Many volunteers want the opportunity to assist directly in a patient care area and we have several areas that provide this opportunity – Friendly Visitor, Admitting, Orthopedic Clinic, Pre-Op, Oncology and Endoscopy.

Non Patient Care Areas

Many volunteers are interested in volunteering at a hospital but aren’t comfortable being on the front lines with patients. We have many opportunities that provide this type of opportunity – Guide Desk volunteers, Parking Pay Station Attendants, Emergency, and Hospice Receptionist.

Clerical / Administrative Areas

We have various clerical and administrative opportunities throughout the Hospital. Many of these assignments include filing, stamping, paper correlation, etc.

Retail

There is one business volunteers assist in, and that is our Gift Shop. Volunteers can apply their skills in interacting with customers, handling cash, stocking, and transporting patients.

Special Events

Volunteers are often called upon to assist with various small projects and special events throughout the year.
